The leaves are falling . . .

Hello everyone, it's nice to see you :) Firstly, I'd like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! I'm having a lovely Thanksgiving in Pet Society, this week is truly one of my favourites :D (Ok, I know I say that about every week but this time I really do!) Now I'd like to list and tell you about some of the highlights of this week . . .

My new autumn outfits:

and . . .

Racing in the stadium against turkeys, while wearing my new Turkey hat which I dug up from the weekly digging map!

And a new room (duh!) my 'cosy cottage' I like to relax by the fire after playing outside in the cool air . . .

Another room! This is my new autumn entrance, I'm glad I now have a place to put my monarch butterfly tree :) I also think this entrance is a lot more cozy than my previous ones . . .

And another! :P I changed my front garden to make it look like this:

Well, as you can probably tell I've been quite a busy beaver this week so I've got to get going but I'll be back again next week to share more adventures!

Love, Vanessa! xx

Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to the forest we go!

Hi pets and pet owners :) What a wonderful week this is! I know most of you think that this theme is 'recycled' because of the fact that it has been done before, but surely after so many years Pet Society is bound to repeat a theme or two, which I'm quite comfortable with. Besides, I really like some of the items this week!

And lets not forget the lovely outfits this week :D (Did I mention they're for coins?!)

Attempting to make the dwarf top from the weekly digging look like a fashionable coat:

Snow White Outfit

 Self-created Wicked Witch Outfit

And here are my rooms for the week . . .

A beautiful balcony for Snow White so she can sing to the animals :)

The seven dwarfs bedroom - inside their forest cottage

And lastly, the forest and entrance to the dwarf's underground mine

Well, that's it for this week!

Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Hi everyone! It's a pleasure to post again, especially seeing as this week is Flintstones-themed. Let me just say I love the Flintstones, definitely one of my (and my owner's!) favourite cartoons. I know Halloween is over :( and it's a bit weird for me not seeing more spooky items in stores this week but I guess I'm also glad the 'Halloween hype' is over! So let me start off my Weekly Update with a recent picture of myself:

I really like this new wig and think it's very cute :)

This is my new Triceratops petling, Tyla (pronounced Tie-la) she is shy and likes to eat sandwiches. I wasn't sure what colour she would come out when I bought her but to my surprise she came out pink! I've never seen a pink triceratops before (we'll I've never actually seen ANY triceratops but you know what I mean!)

Here is another pic of me, I'm taking a ride (or should I say glide!) on my new Pink Flying Pterodactyl :) It's so cool how it really flies around the room and I love the colour purple mixed with pink!)

And this is my new room, I had a bit of trouble because stone age-themed items aren't my specialty but I tried my best :P So here is my Yabba Dabba Doo Bar! :D

Halloween Costumes!

Vanessa here and instead of doing the normal update for this week's theme, I thought I'd dedicate this post to those wonderful coin outfits that were released late last week. Firstly, I'd like to thank Playfish and Pet Socxiety for NOT making them cash and even though I don't mind spending a bit of cash here and there (hey, a pet needs to look there best, eh?)  I'm very grateful :)

Ok, enough rambling - just one last thing though! - I decided to not just show you pics of me wearing them, because you already know how they look if you've bought them too, instead I designed a room to go with each costume, sticking to the theme! (with me posing in the room of course :P) and now here they are . . .

Insane Alice Costume: Alice's Wonderland? I had a bit of trouble trying to make this room a bit creepy because Alice is just too cute to become a serial killer! :O I really love Alice in Wonderland though, serial killer or not!

Silent Nurse Costume: Haunted Hospital! Has anyone seen the movie Silent Hill? If the nurses from that movie were to work in a hospital it would probably look something like this . . .

Dream Stalker Costume: Creepy child's bedroom. "Tuck yourself in you better hold on to your teddy, it's Nightmare on Elm Street and guess who's playing Freddy!"

Folding Metal Man Costume: The Robot Revolution. I had a bit of difficulty with this room, seeing as I don't own that much futuristic stuff, but I certainly adore the costume! And who doesn't love Transformers? Surely the best robot movie I've seen!

Golden Poo Costume: Poo Palace! :P I didn't do a full room for this one because I was afraid you'd think I'd gone a bit bonkers, but here's a small pic indicating where poos should belong!

Cereal Killer Costume: A Cereal Killer's Kitchen? I found the non-movie based costumes a bit harder to design rooms for so here's a Serial Killer Segment! xD

Bloody Prom Queen Costume: Carrie's Prom Nightmare! "As Carrie is crowned Prom Queen, a bucket falls from the rooftop covering her entirely in pig's blood" - end scene from the movie Carrie.

Cannibal Doctor Costume: Hannibal's Prison Cell (from the movie) "On a similar note I must confess to you, I'm giving very serious thought... to eating your wife"

Hotdog Costume: Fast Food! I know this isn't a room but I wanted to take the meaning of 'fast food' to a whole new level! I really don't know what a giant hotdog holding condiments is meant to do with Halloween but it's still pretty cool!

Well, that's all of them! I hope you enjoyed it and as always stay tuned for more updates! :)

Tim Burton, Eat your heart out!

Hiya! *Waves paws* so as you might've guessed this "nightmarish" week is dedicated to all things Tim Burton! I'm sure all of you know him but for those who don't he's an American film director, film producer, writer and artist. He is famous for dark, quirky-themed movies such as Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

*First of all I'd like to thank my wonderful friends for helping me build the collaborative item this week so fast . . . your the greatest!* - And I really love it too, such nice scenery! :D

Secondly, here is one of my new favourite outfits, the Undead Bride Outfit! It was so hard to pick only one out of all those cute outfit bundles to share with you, but if I did take a pic of them all, I'd run out of space on my camera! :P

All the items this week are very cute and fit perfectly with the stuff from the previous Halloween weeks. Here is a room with some of the items from this week:

So this is room has a nice sunset view, I think it looks simple but cute and I like to make the colours match in the rooms I create. I liked it so much that I decided to do another room, like this one, but for night time. Here it is:

And just because I'm so room-decorating-obsessed (if there is such a thing! xD) I also wanted to show you my new Ghostly Manor Room! It's very spacious and I just love the animations within the room :)

(With Lightening)

(Without Lightening)

Once again I hope you have enjoyed my post about this week, Happy Halloween everyone and I'm looking forward to posting next week about the LAST theme of Halloween!

Da da da da, da da da da *Wedding Bells*

Hello all :) Are you all enjoying Zombie Wedding week? I sure am! Here is what I've gotten up to:

I love playing with my new surprise coffin! Isn't it the best? I can't think of a cooler limited edition item for coins! Plus it seems like a cool bed to sleep in, but I don't think I'll be trying it out anytime soon . . .

And here is me in my funny new Bride of Frankenstein Outfit! Not my ideal wedding dress and I am having quite a bad hair day but I've certainly looked worse :P

I couldn't decide whether I should do my weekly room themed as a graveyard church or the spooky after party so I did both, and here they are! (I don't know if you have ever had or wanted to have a wedding but this wasn't what I had in mind . . . *giggles*)

Outside the Church

The small but select wedding reception!

And I also thought it would be fun to make a private tower room too! Complete with my new Ghostly Manor Balcony. I can sit near my balcony and listen to the thunder, but sometimes a ghost comes creeping :O

Only two more week of Halloween to go now! (I hope :P)

Halloween outfits and more!

Hi guys, I'm absolutely loving this week's theme so I thought I'd do something different for a change and let you take a peek at the outfits that I wore during this week of Halloween (a different outfit for each day of course! :P) I absolutely love Halloween don't you?

And yes, I know Sunday's outfit is a lot 'pinker' than the others xD I'm not that big on pink but I try to mix the colour pallet around a bit. Do you do that sometimes? I find wearing the same colour all the time makes me get tired of it a lot quicker, what do you think?

The pics above also feature some of my favourite items this week, including the new Halloween wig dye table, Cursed angel wings and one of my new all time favourite outfits: Halloween Princess Bundle!

And here is my Halloween Party Room, simple but spooky. Love it! It also finally gave me something to do with my 'Gates of the Underworld' room . . .

Hope you've enjoyed my post, I've got heaps more to do to prepare for Monday but don't worry there is still two more great weeks of Halloween to come! So I'm sure you'll here from me soon :)

My Amazing Adventure!

So as you all probably know it's Treasures of the Nile week in Pet Society. To be honest, like everyone else I thought this week was rather boring and wished Halloween would come at last, but I decided to give it a try and be optimistic for a change . . .

On Monday I left Pet Society for the day to go to the National History Museum. The main reason I went was because coincidentally, they had a special exhibit about the Ancient Egyptians. I thought it was perfect to learn all about Egypt before this new week in Pet Society even started and so I made sure I had no plans so I could spend the whole day at the museum . . . Here is a picture of the special section at the museum dedicated to the history of Ancient Egypt:

While at the museum, I looked around a lot - there were heaps of displays and the exhibit seemed to go on forever. By the end of the day my poor paws (no pun intended! :P) were so sore! (and that rhymes xD) I really didn't want to admit it - seeing as I had committed myself so much - but I thought the exhibit was rather boring and I didn't get to see anything cool like dead mummies or stuff like that.

But after the exhbition, we went into another room, sort of like a little theatre, with a big projection screen and we were going to watch a short film about Ancient Egypt and King Tutankhamen (the boy Pharaoh) the best part was it was in 3D! I felt like I was at the cinemas only better! After the film, I realized I actually had spent the whole day at the museum and it was getting rather late, but at least I had finally enjoyed learning about Ancient Egypt and discovered how interesting it really is! So I went home, back to Pet Society.

It even inspired me to do a little photo-shoot! So, here is a nice little pic of me finding Ancient Egyptian treasures in what appears to be a dark and abandoned pyramid! I wonder if there are any mummies in there?! *eek*

I also thought maybe I had tried TOO hard into getting myself to like this week's theme because now I absolutely love it! Just look at what I bought: (And not to mention this week's cc Limited Edition: Egyptian Princess Bundle - the first pic in this post) Especially since they ALL were one week only, I just couldn't bear to miss out!

And so that, my friends, is how I learned to appreciate another culture (even if it was over 3000 years old! :P) But the main thing is I had fun and learned heaps of new things. I hope you enjoyed reading about my adventures but I'm quite tired now after the week I've been through, so I'm gonna have to end it there!

A Fairy-Lover's Paradise!

"Fairy, fairy quite contrary how does your garden grow?"

With dew-drops and petals, fireflies and nettles, that's how! Hiya guys, I'm here to discuss Forest Fairies Week :) I really don't know how to describe it, I do like Fairy themes but lately that's all I seem to see in Pet Society now (oh well, maybe next week will be better!) I mean not that I don't like fairies or anything (I'm actually seriously into that stuff!) but it would be nice to see a 'realistic' theme, like New York Vacation or something but I'm not gonna complain though because there are quite a few things I like about this week. . .

Firstly, my favourite item this week would have to be the Forest Fairies Mystery Outfits. They are very cute and I managed to get my paws on all of them! Even though I am a girl I always keep the boy outfits because sometimes you can make it work! Example: (Me wearing part of the King Fairy Outfit)

Out of all the outfits, I don't really have a favourite or preferred one, I actually like them all! As soon as I got them I couldn't choose which one I wanted to wear first :P Here is another pic of me wearing the Immaculate Fairy Outfit (gosh I love that wig, strange but different!) I got it from a very special friend of mine who is truly sweeter than honey itself.

Since this wasn't one of my favourite weeks, I decided to try and save my cc (after I had bought ALL the Forest Fairies Mystery Outfits xD) I didn't really buy anything else with my cc, so here is a pic of the room I created this week with all coin stuff! So its not the best room but it certainly shows you don't need cc to make your house a decorative statement! (Hope you like it)

Well that's gonna have to be it for now, later today I will be going out for dinner with a few friends so I much get ready and pamper myself!

Halloween is Coming . . .

Hi everyone: Halloween is Coming! And what better way to prepare than this weeks theme Gothic Royalty! I just want to say I love this weeks theme! Since my favourite colour is purple and all, and I do like Gothic style so I'm quite a happy little pet. As usual I will tell you my favourite items for this week: (I always have favourites since I rush to the shops and buy everything in sight as soon as the new stuff is brought in :P)

Ok, my 100% favourite item of the week is my new Gothic Princess Lace Wings, which I bought at the boutique. I love getting new accessories (especially ones that make me fly!) and because they were purple, well that was the icing on the cake :D the only thing I don't like is the fact that they are a bit narrow, I wish they were wider but other than that it's all good! Here is a pic of me with my new wings (and how I was dressed this week) I'm wearing my Crazy Witch dress, Gothic Princess shoes and wig (dyed brown, as usual) and the wings:

I really love that wig :) (it would probably have to be my second favourite thing this week) I'm surprised it wasn't cc, in fact, I'm surprised there were no cc outfits at all this week (that's a good thing though :P - but then again if there was I probably would have bought it coz I just can't help myself when it comes to clothes xD)

Another thing I simply had to buy was the Small Gothic Snowglobe (I have an obsession with buying one-week-only stuff, or should I say junk!) But I love it and I'm still deciding what to put inside it because it's very beautiful!

And of course here is my room this week, I used some old items and some new items and I'm quite happy with it at the moment . . .

And now I  must go and visit my neighbours since I didn't get time at all today, seeing how busy I am.

Love, Vanessa! xx
